Screen South is the Regional Screen Agency for the South East of England, wrapping around London, including Pinewood, Shepperton and Maidstone Studios. The counties covered are Kent & Medway, East Sussex, West Sussex, Surrey Oxford, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Hampshire & Isle of Wight.

Our mission is to promote the region’s talent, support opportunities for region’s crew, facilities and locations, as well as present exciting film and entertainment to new audiences by enhancing access to festivals, exhibition and regional archives. Our main role is as a broker and as such we are keen to support partnerships on both a regional, European and International level. We actively seek to support co-production as well as training and development in this area.

Our Film Commission office based at Pinewood Studios offers an extensive Locations and Production support service for all productions and filmmakers working or seeking to work in the South East. Our online database provides easy access to regional locations, crew and facilities while our commission staff can liaise across the South East with regional industry, local authorities and services.

Screen South also invests National Lottery funds in regional filmmaking and cultural activities including:
